The panel reads your sequence directly — it can see every audio track in it. Nothing gets uploaded except the audio it needs, and the result comes back into the same timeline you started in.

Audio is exported through your WAV preset and sent to Google Gemini. Choose Flash for speed or Pro for tighter accuracy on difficult audio.

Review and edit any line in the panel first. Then push it in as a native caption track, or write out an .srt — or both.

Convert Sinhala Unicode to legacy FM Abhaya font text. A standalone tool — it is not part of the subtitle workflow, so you can use it on its own, on any text you paste in, whether or not you ever run a transcription.
“Convert all to FM font” runs the whole segment list at once, so a finished transcription becomes FM text without touching a single line by hand.
No copying into a website, no second app open on the side, no pasting back. The conversion happens inside Premiere, next to the timeline it belongs to.
With a text template in the assets folder, the FM text goes in at the playhead as a real text clip — pick the video track and the duration, then insert.
Raw FM bytes — they look like this until the FM Abhaya font is applied, then they read as Sinhala.

The practical bits
Do I need a Gemini API key?
Yes, and it’s free. Create one at aistudio.google.com under API keys, paste it into the Settings tab, and press Save Key. It’s stored only on that machine — Test and Diagnose are there if it ever stops answering.
Does it need an audio export preset?
It needs an audio-only preset to pull the sound out of your sequence. “Find & use my WAV preset” scans the presets already in Premiere and Media Encoder; if you have none, make one from the Export panel with video unchecked, then scan again.
Are the subtitles editable?
Every segment sits in an editable field in the panel before you commit it, and once it’s on the timeline it’s a native Premiere caption — font and colour are set in the Captions panel from the style preset the plugin saves.
Is the FM converter tied to the subtitles?
No. It’s a standalone tool in its own tab — paste in any Sinhala Unicode text and take the FM Abhaya output, with or without a transcription. The “Convert all to FM font” button in the Generate tab is the shortcut for a finished subtitle list.
